Mindfulness for kids in the school setting

I wrote about mindfulness in a previous post and wanted to touch on the positive effects it appears to be having in the classroom. The link reviews 4 different research studies showing the effectiveness of teaching students mindfulness. The studies report that the students appear to have less overall stress, less significant ADHD symptoms, and report less depressive symptoms. I have read about the effectiveness of mindfulness in the schools everywhere - from facebook to journals to psychology magazines.
